DealDrops Daily ("we", "us") is a daily shopping-deals publication run by Marcello Giacalone. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, follow our social channels or enter a giveaway, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Website visitors: our website has no accounts, sign-ups, ads or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics scripts on it. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon's own privacy notice applies: https://www.amazon.com/privacy
- Giveaway entrants (when a giveaway is running): the details you give us to enter and, if you win, to deliver the prize (for example your name, email or social media handle).
- Messages you send us: whatever you include when you email or message us.
- Social media: when you follow, comment on or message our channels (YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Telegram, WhatsApp), the platform shares the information its own policies allow. Those platforms' privacy policies apply.
We don't collect payment information, and we never ask for passwords.
How we use it
- To run giveaways and contact and deliver prizes to winners.
- To reply to you.
- To understand in aggregate which deals and posts are useful, so we can improve the publication.
We don't sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Affiliate links and cookies
Many of our links are affiliate links, mostly to Amazon. When you click one, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set cookies to record that you came from us so we can earn a commission. We don't see what you buy or any of your account details. The retailer's privacy policy covers that data. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Google and YouTube data
We use YouTube API Services only to upload and manage videos on our own YouTube channel. We don't access, store or share data about other YouTube users through the API. Use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
Subscriber data is kept while you're subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Giveaway entry data is kept only as long as needed to run the giveaway and meet legal record-keeping requirements, then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing dealdropsdailyhub@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
DealDrops Daily is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we don't knowingly collect their information. Giveaways are open only to eligible adults as stated in each giveaway's official rules.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
